Performance Driving Course - Own Car

Went and did the Ferrari experience here. What a buzz! Brilliant day out. The instructors were really good. Friendly and knowledgeable they put you at ease and give you great pointers to build your confidence and improve your laps. Food in the cafe was also good and they do a decent cup of tea. I would recommend them to anyone.

Just want to say a big thanks for an amazing day on Sunday at Knockhill. My son was up at the Teen Drive 2 and he has not stopped talking about it....absolutely loved it. He is only 13 but he got so much from the experience and I watched him actually driving, slightly surreal...where has the time gone? Big thanks to all the staff that were there running the event and all the staff in the background that make everything happen.

Done the extended formula car experience. Was great from start to finish. Staff friendly and helpful. Car was great and instructor in the Civic was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the drive.

I was initially booked to do this in November 2020 but had to cancel at the last minute due to COVID restrictions so the voucher expired. A full 6 months after the voucher had expired I logged in to try and use it and was delighted to find it had been extended free of charge. On the day I arrived and was given a wrist band and directed to a parking area. The instructor came to collect the drivers from their cars and at no time did we have to get together indoors as a group which was great given current issues with COVID. The instructor in the Honda Civic type r takes you round the track twice showing you the racing lines and you then swap and drive 4 laps with him giving more tips and advice. After that it’s on to the legends cars, the first session is driven with a bolt in the accelerator pedal to restrict the revs and if you keep it on track you can have this taken out for the remaining sessions. The car was fantastic especially unrestricted and the whole visit was great fun. I don’t remember the staff members name who helped us at the legends cars but he was brilliant, very friendly and put your mind at ease while still getting over the required safety advice. Awesome and enthusiastic staff with a great attitude overall. This was the perfect present for me from my son. At the briefing, Niall explained what to expect and introduced his 2 sons who would be on hand to help out and give us tips, show us lines and improve our riding. Got some fantastic tips to take away will definitely be back next year, couldn't have asked for a better day from Niall Mac, his sons and the whole Knockhill team., thanks you
